JHTTB Considers Funding for Jackson’s Largest Events

The Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board (JHTTB) is set to deliberate on the allocation of lodging tax funds to six signature events in a special meeting on February 20, 2025. The JHTTB aims allocate funding to events who will attract visitors, bolster the local economy, and showcase Jackson as a cultural event destination. These six events – Rendezvous Music Festival, the International Commission for Alpine Rescue, Native Voices, Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race, TGR: World Premiere and Music Festival, and Pitch Day – applied for $2.3 million total, while the JHTTB budgeted $900,000 in signature event funding for fiscal year 2026.
In their funding decision, the Board will evaluate impact and ultimately the fund the events most likely to create the greatest economic and social benefit for the community. The JHTTB’s signature event funding vote will shape the event landscape in Jackson Hole for the upcoming season.
