Want to know where to go for information about the Sustainable Destination Management Plan (SDMP)?

Information, updates, meetings, and the ability to post comments as they relate to the SDMP can now be found on the newly-launched Teton County Engage Platform.

Project scope expansion

In June, the JHTTB approved an expanded scope of work for SDMP consulting teams with an extended timeline for the first draft of a plan for public comment set for fall and final plan delivery of December 2022.

What to expect this summer

Currently, the teams at George Washington University International Institute of Tourism Studies (GWU) are spending the summer finalizing overall project deliverables including a situational analysis, resident sentiment survey and social media listening report, all of which will contribute to the development of a suggested Destination Management Plan slated for this fall.

While this is underway, tourism industry experts are digging deeper into solutions identified by our community during focus groups and in public meetings held during the March and June 2022 site visits. Information will be continually released as it becomes available. In the meantime, the JHTTB’s Sustainability Coordinators are hosting office hours, coffee chats and group presentations to continually engage, field questions and collect community feedback and insights.
