Travel & Tourism Expo

By Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board

Tourism Matters

How does Teton County's $1.6 billion industry benefit our community?

The Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board hosted a Travel & Tourism Expo on Janary 14, 2025. Over 200 community members and 38 organizations attended to discover the value of tourism for the community and to provide feedback on how the tourism industry can better support locals.

The JHTTB is evaluating feedback from Jackson’s first-ever Travel & Tourism Expo and taking action.

Takeaways and action items that the JHTTB is working on as a result of the Travel & Tourism Expo includes:

  • Creating comprehensive visitor messaging toolkits for businesses,
  • Developing more extensive frontline worker training,
  • Using data to make informed marketing and management decisions for the destination,
  • Educating the hospitality industry to use the JHTTB’s tourism data dashboard to make informed decisions for their businesses,
  • And further educating the community about destination marketing and management being completed by the JHTTB.

Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board contractors are also meeting with individual working groups and presenting businesses to determine feasible action items in each of the eight stewardship goals of the SDMP.
