The Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board provided a Hospitality Partners Update on May 13, 2025, to prepare the tourism industry for the summer season.

    Summer 2025 Forecast

    Destimetrics reported that summer forecasts show a 10% increase in summer 2025 as compared to summer 2024, with the most notable increases early season (June) and late season (September and October). Jackson is performing 19 - 28% better than other mountain destinations, depsite 5 months of decreases in the consumer confidence index and less US travel from Canada and Western Europe.

  • Bridger-Teton National Forest Update

    Bridger-Teton National Forest noted expectations of similar visitor numbers to last year, approximately 2.4 million to 2.5 million users. Decreased staff and resources will be available to service visitor areas like trails and restrooms. Jackson hospitality partners can help by educating visitors about wildlife safety, planning ahead, and dispersed camping before they enter the forest.

  • Grand Teton National Park Update

    Grand Teton National Park anticipates similar visitor numbers to last year, which was a record year in the Park with over 3.6 million recreation visits. The Park is preparing accordingly and staffing levels are mostly in line with an average season. Grand Teton thanked Jackson's hospitality industry for being Park stewards, an area of focus in their communications strategy which involves education about habitat connectivity, wildlife migration, and the long-term health of the Snake River.

  • Yellowstone National Park Update

    Yellowstone provided an update that the Park is expecting another busy season and they are fully-staffed and ready to accomodate. They reminded the Jackson Hole community that services are limited in the early season (which is typical) and visitors should come prepared. Yellowstone also encourages Jackson's hospitality industry to educate visitors about safety guidelines and taking the Yellowstone Pledge before they enter the Park.

    The Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board discussed the launch of the Responsible Recreation Toolkit, which takes the messages heard from land partners and provides talking points, social media posts, and email text to relay to visitors. The JHTTB also teased the launch of a new summer campaign: This Is How We Jackson Hole.
